Meechie Johnson quits OSU in NIL dispute

Someone I know works for another university, I said I wouldn't share which one but I'm sure this is true of many of them: she said their administration is trying to bring NIL in house because so many promises made by the car dealer type NIL fund there have been broken that it's negatively effected their reputation.

So yeah not shocked. It's the wild west period.

NIL collectives losing their 501c status probably helped them in the current period. No audits, no accountability. "Trust me bro" is the mantra and will continue until someone is actually caught embezzling funds and then some rules will be put into place. But from who? A sanctioning body that has lost every court case brought against them??
