High Point has a really good program. Not too dissimilar from Denver. College soccer is like that where you can have these smaller schools compete with the big boys if the school emphasizes soccer. High Point was legitimately better than Pitt on that night. It wasnt one of those deals where Pitt dominated got beat on the opponent's only shot. HP outshot Pitt 14-8 and if you didnt know anything about either team, you would have thought HP was better. Their only losses were to NC State and Marshall, who is another one of those smaller schools who emphasizes soccer.
Great bounce back win tonight to remain in 1st.
