Just a different level of athlete right now. Miami isn't a great team, but they have a few stud athletes. The athleticism on the perimeter was especially a challenge. 10 assists to 19 turnovers is going to be difficult to overcome. 4 threes is not going to beat anyone in this league either. This team needs to make a lot of threes. I thought today was winnable, but they just couldn't get anything going offensively. Holding them to 67 points is solid, and I thought the defense was okay. I will start out with the positive.

Thought Shamiel was good. The baseline move was big time. Athletically, he belongs in that game and can compete. For him, it is just a matter of cleaning up some floor game stuff.

I thought Khameron Davis was good as well. Not a big game, but efficient and looked to belong. The block on Newton was impressive. The 36 minutes show that the coaches trust him and the foot. You can see his confidence building every day.

Parker was solid, the driver and finish was impressive. Recently, he has shown an ability to drive and finish already. Some of it has surprised me to be honest.

Outside of the 0-3 from three and 2 turnovers, Jared was okay. A few really nice drives in a row. Still feel like he disappears too much. This team needs him to be the main scorer, and it has to be throughout the entire game.

Terrell had a couple of nice post moves. There is a lot of talent there, but he is just too thin and is at an athletic disadvantage right now. Marcus will want to forget about today. I don't think he is overmatched physically, but today was definitely a wake up call. The rest of the bench was even worse. 4 turnovers in 15 minutes for Milligan. 3 turnovers and 4 fouls in 11 minutes for Kene. Nothing at all from Peace.

The next three games are going to be very difficult.
