Pitt has been in contact with Miami transfer Robby Washington.
He was a four-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class who signed with the Hurricanes and played in seven games as a redshirt freshman this past season. All of his playing time came on defense and special teams, but he went into the portal looking for an opportunity to play receiver. Washington has heard some initial contact from the Pitt staff - it seems mostly exploratory at this point, but we'll see if it goes anywhere.
