On a neutral court, they beat Mississippi State by 26, then they beat #16 Utah by 24, and then they beat #22 Butler (who later beat Purdue) by 10. They then went to Nebraska and won there, and beat Florida at home by 10.
If if wasn't for one hiccup, this team might just be ranked #1 in the country. The one hiccup? They lost to Northeastern at home. Northeastern is not that bad a team... about as good as Davidson... so it would be like us losing to Davidson... at home.
Mark my words... this team is DANGEROUS. Might very well win the ACC. And, we gotta go down there to play them later in the season (between UVA at home and UNC on the road... tough stretch for sure).
The interesting thing... is after Cuse plays us, they gotta go down there and play them on Saturday. Might just be a real tough start to the season for Cuse.
