Michigan - LOL

How are they tolerating Harbaugh? Mich was a 24 pt fav early in week. Underachievers for years now.

Next year is the final year of Harbaugh’s contract, and I expect that to be the end of his era in Ann Arbor.

That 17 play drive at the end was emblematic of their offense. Everything is within a couple yards of the LOS, no threat down the field at all.

I suspect THIS is the job Luke Fickell is waiting for. Spurned by tOSU and a tOSU grad. What better way to get sweet revenge?

When I think of things like this, I always remember that former UGA HC Vince Dooley went to Auburn And former Auburn HC Pat Dye went to UGA.

Agreed. Luke is waiting for this type of high profile job. Michigan would be a perfect fit for both.

Even more reason for Pitt to go after Marcus Freeman now before it is too late. Fickell would go to Michigan and Cincy will promote Freeman.

Goes to show how tough it is to hire a coach that can meet expectations. Harbaugh’s success at Michigan would be a God send at Pitt...

I don’t think Michigan has won a game as an underdog during Harbaugh’s tenure there. Only power 5 school to do so during that time. Granted they’re not underdogs very often, but still. That’s not a good look.

If Harbaugh is there next year, its because this year was a short crazy season anyways and they dont want to have to buy him out if he indeed only has 1 more year left. 1-6 against Mich St and OSU at home is just not going to cut it there.

You got to figure Michigan once looked to Ohio and an ex Ohio State assistant to coach their team, it would make sense to do it again. I would think Luke Fickell has to be in their sights and they better act sooner than later.

I’ve thought Harbaugh has been good enough. It’s not really his problem that his school’s rival has turned into a juggernaut. For the most part he recruits at about where Michigan should be, and wins the games they should win. Michigan just has to be realistic about what they are in the world of college football. They are an upper tier, Tier II program.

But yesterday was the first game I thought was a legit bad look for Harbaugh. Yesterday really felt different. You can’t lose that game.

It’s also crazy how that 2016 game against Ohio State seems to have destroyed Harbaugh. They had so much momentum. He’s making every headline. Becoming the most annoying coach in football but on purpose. He’s doing really well on the trail. And with a win they probably go to the playoffs.
They probably stopped OSU on 4th down. Instead it’s called a first down. OSU wins. And Harbaugh never seems to have recovered. Even his personality seems to have changed. People still hate him, but largely for the stuff he was doing before that.

I totally agree......

you are the only one...

Not a huge Harbaugh fan, but I’d trade Narduzzi for him in a second.

In fact I would pick him up in Ann Arbor (literally) and carry him back to Pittsburgh myself if necessary.
