So Penn State has 4th and 6 at the Michigan 38 and they are lined up to punt. The Michigan coaches suspect a fake and call time out. And after the timeout the nitters STILL run the fake, and Michigan is completely unprepared for it and they complete a pass for a 16 yard gain.

Now that's some high level coaching right there.

I want to know what number 14 for Michigan was thinking. He actually realized what was happening and played it right, but then stopped running with the receiver.

H2P

Harbaugh wastes a TO to get duped by a fake punt anyways. Solid coaching right there.

I think somehow a poster said psu beating Michigan would be part of a great Saturday? How? A 3 loss Psu team would be ahead of Pitt in playoff poll.

Harbaugh is a terrible game day coach. Worse than Narduzzi. And I doubt he would be able to recruit as well as Duz if he was at Pitt.

It was me. Then I wanted Michigan to beat OSU to completely screw up the Big 10. PSU oline couldn’t move grandma in a wheel chair. Without Clifford they are not good.

And now the nitters try a fake field goal from the two yard line that may have actually worked but the holder under throws the kicker and he has to slow up to catch the ball, allowing the defense time to recover and force a fumble out of the guy.

I watched the first two or three plays and concluded that Penn State wouldn't be able to block Michigan all day, so I threw a nice chunk of change on the Wolverines. Kind of wish I hadn't right now, haha. Michigan's offense just seems so incompetent year after year. Oh well... Long way to go.

I will say that there is something about Big Ten football that makes me prefer watching their games to the non-Pitt games in other conferences.

Yeah I wasn’t sure the reasoning. I was thinking maybe a 2 loss Michigan would tumble down rankings? But I get you now . Nice fake fg attempt by psu btw.

Harbaugh? What about Funhouse Franklin faking two kicks in the spots on the field where each are least likely to work? And I realize one did work, haha.

Franklin with a fake out of the Mike Tomlin playbook. Maybe someday these coaches will realize it is exponentially tougher to fake FG’s as you get closer to the goal line. Too many defensive players jammed in too close a space.

On the field goal, if you are thinking about a fake from the two yard line why on earth do you not just have your offense out there running a real play with your actual offensive players? If you don't make it you have them backed up against their own goal line, get a stop and get great field position out of it.

Of course with how good their goal line offense looked against Illinois, maybe a fake field goal has a better chance of scoring from the two yard line than their offense does.

This Michigan offense is going to struggle versus PSU’s defense. Not scoring off that fake field goal fumble might bite the Wolverines.

Wow, I’m just the opposite. I’d rather clean the garage and change the oil in the car than watch a Big 10 game.

Big 10 football is tough to watch. Other than Ohio st. There is no offense. It’s like watching football in the 1920’s.

It’s so obvious the Big 10 is garbage this year. Ohio st the flag ship program got hammered by Oregon at home. Plus, they got lucky against a terrible Nebraska team.

Joey Porter just gave up a touchdown on a nice slant pattern

Michigan leading after being outplayed by the fighting franklins for most of the game.

I'm guessing B10 weekly highlight programs have lots of discussions about tailgating and marching bands.

Attendance that is all that matters. What was PSU ranked at the beginning of the season number5?

Michigan hasn't been getting nearly enough push to line up and make this a balls match on 4th down. They barely got away with it the first time, but it wasn't working twice. This is like watching Cheech and Chong coach against each other.

People at the club I’m at (in Ohio) wonder why I keep rooting for Michigan this game, I gotta remind them I am a Pitt fan from way way back. So, I will root for the de-gens from upcountry every time they play State Penn.

This is why it's tough to take any rankings seriously.

Keep in mind Oregon beat tO$U without their best player.

I hope JoeyD doesn’t see this, he may go into convulsions 🤣🤣

Michigan's qb can't throw a pass over 10 yards. How do they only have 1 loss.
