They don't seem too pleased with the BIG right now. Set them up to come in down even the BIG deal expires! They can bring ND. ;)

I have become such a Michigan fan over this. Wished I could go root for them in the cesspool this weekend. I need to buy this shirt

Can you imagine PSU fans heckling Michigan fans? "You guys are sign stealers." "Well, you guys allowed dozens of children to be raped."

Nit fans, as a group, are deniers and wouldn’t “get it”. Heck, some of them thought that they were the victims.

The B1G fans don't really heckle each other because everyone has walk-in closets full of skeletons.

Why would Michigan fans respond with that comment? When Anderson molested hundreds? See if you’re guilty of the same crime with more victims. Only an idiot brings it up as a response to an attack. 🤷‍♂️

Not happening, why would they stoop? And give up more money than the acc will pay them

If the B10 somehow costs them a CFP bid.... and I dont know how they could do that, because even if they barr them from the B10CG, they would still get a CFP bid at 12-0.....if I were Michigan, I'd tell the B10, "do that and we're going to the SEC" and be deadly serious. Why does Michigan need the B10? Its mostly JUCO rapist schools. Now they have to go halfway to China to play. I'd be dead serious about leaving for the SEC.

Michigan met with SEC Commissioner to discuss moving to SEC.
Exploring move if BIG comes down hard on Michigan & Harbaugh.

Hardly. Likely they got a good explanation of how the GOR works, and why they can't go anywhere.

B10 signed a short-term TV deal soooo........

It seems far-fetched but if the B10 keeps them out of the CFP for something so minor, they should absolutely go to the SEC. However, the SEC would then surely backfill with ACC teams so it would end up hurting us anyway.

Why does Michigan need the B10? They can play OSU out of conference every year. Maybe they lose the MSU game but so what. Do they need to play Rutgers, Indiana, Nebraska, USC, and Washington? What's the difference between them and Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, and South Carolina?

You guys are off the deep end. Michigan isn't going to the SEC, where they would no longer rule the roost and control the league. This is nothing but bluster at this point.

Exactly. About half the teams in the BIG and SEC don't need the rest. Vanderbilt and Miss St don't add revenue for Alabama. Northwestern and Indiana don't add revenue for Michigan. Those schools will eventuall be cut out and schools like Michigan can have a larger share of the pie.

It's disgusting. But that's how it's going to go.

Exactly. Everything that Michigan has done so far has been to warn the Big Ten to not ruin one of the greatest seasons they have ever had by hammering them for their years long cheating scheme.

If this was happening in April, three months after they had their run at a national championship, their reaction would be completely different.

Michigan has more leverage than many on this board seem to think. The BIG certainly needs them more so than the inverse of that.

Right. Which is why they should say "try anything and we out." The B10, creating a stupid 18 team "NFC" makes Michigan less likely to need to stay in it since its not really the B10 anymore.

So they'd go to the SEC where they'd average 8 wins a year? The ACC for way less money? Independent for even less money? The B1G is going to wait and see the results of the Ped State and OSU games, if they lose either then the B1G is going to bring the hammer down, if they win out the B1G will delay until the spring then bring the hammer down, there's no way the B1G is going to jeopardize not having a team in the CFP.

SEC. No way ACC.

Be one of the Top 5 teams in the SEC and go to the CFP.

ACC Champ
B12 Champ
ND some years
SEC Champ
B10 Champ
G5 Champ
SEC

B10

I would love to see the link?
Michigan is NEVER leaving the B1G.
A) they were an original member
B) their fans, alumni, legislators would NEVER want that.
C) The SEC doesn’t play Ice Hockey nor does the ACC which is while both of ND teams play B1G hockey

I could go on but I don’t have too this thread is just ridiculous

The crystal ball is pretty clear on this one.

Michigan declares they are going to the SEC. Ohio State says "us too" and joins as well

USC, UCLA, Oregon, and Washington say this isn't what they signed up for; and join Oregon St. and Washington St. in a PAC revival

Penn State panics and joins the ACC

Nebraska says "Oh No..." and rejoins the Big 12

Big 10 back to being a 10 team league as God and the league's name intended consisting of:

Rutgers
Maryland
Indiana
Michigan State
Iowa
Minnesota
Wisconsin
Illinois
Northwestern
Purdue

Somehow the Big 10 commissioner continues to secure to highest paying television contract for the league and everyone celebrates the return of the Rose Bowl as an annual Big 10 vs PAC matchup. Notre Dame leaves the ACC and joins the Big 10 for all sports except football.

PSU might be 1 win away from the CFP. Beat Mich. OSU beat Mich. Get some help like FSU and Bama and others losing.

Provided PSU can beat Michigan tomorrow, then even if OSU loses to Michigan, that results in in 3 way tie in the division, right? Isn't that how PSU got the Big 10 championship in 2016?

It wouldn't have been a 3 way tie. PSU lost to Pitt and Michigan so only 1 conference loss. Michigan lost to Iowa and OSU for 2 conference losses.

Got it, so it was a two way tie and PSU had the head-to-head tiebreaker over OSU that year. What is the tiebreaker in a 3 way tie situation? Point differential from conference games?

In a three way

Purdue would have to win out to give Michigan or Ohio State a chance

The B1G and the SEC need the Indianas and Vanderbilts to kick around, like the Harlem Globetrotters needed the Washington Generals.

Plus if you have enough of them it gives someone like Rutgers a chance to have not beaten anyone better than Virginia Tech but still be able to say "hey, we've won six games so far, we must be pretty good!"
