Military or Detroit, correct?

Maybe a return trip to Detroit against a MAC team might change Duzzi's bowl winless streak? 8-5 is so much better than possibly playing a P5 somewhere else and taking the chance at ending up 7-6.

hey, we won our last bowl game in Detroit, right? James Conner played offense and a few plays on defense.

Good memory you have. I completely forgot he played defense in that game. Wasn't that also the game where Tom Savage went out and we saw Voytik for the first time? Thought he was going to be something special after that game.

all of those bowls are disappointing! need a bowl south of the mason dixon line to make me feel good about the season. was hoping for music city bowl, but narduzzi had the the team pucker up.

Don’t care if it’s Pinstripe or Military. I was going up until today’s product. Now I don’t care to even watch.

I’ll put this here too ( because I’m completely disgusted)

I don’t give a shit who Pitt plays in the Bowl game or how shitty the Bowl is regarded or how shitty the opponent supposedly will be regarded once announced by any media, fan, troll or meaningless as shit Vegas point spread...

Pitt HAS TO win the game period

No excuses

None

So we get beat by a mediocre Navy team or a worse MAC team great season ending
Don't know why you think that Navy is a "mediocre" football program. If they win tonight and beat Army next week, they are 10-2 and that is a respectable record for any NCAA D-I program. Bad news for Pitt it, IF they get selected to go to the Military Bowl, Navy's offense will drive the Pitt defense crazy and I don't know if the Pitt offense can score enough points to hang with them.

I was going to say,the last time we played navy in that bowl they put it to us.it could very well happen again.just saw a projection where Pitt could play MSU in the pinstripe.

With garbage losses to Miami and BC, they go wherever they're told and be thankful somebody will take them.

Those people look at record-only and dont take into account other factors. Pitt lost its chance at a Tier 1 Bowl by losing to BC to finish 7-5. That allows bowls to select FSU, Miami, and UNC over them, which they will.

Pitt is going to Detroit to play a MAC team.

Detroit is still against Big 10.

Yeah they have the "8th pick" and there's 9 bowl eligible teams in the Big 10 this season, so even if a Big 10 team goes to the Orange or Cotton the Oil Change Bowl won't have to take a MAC team.

I'd be shocked if Michigan State isn't the Big 10 team in the Oil Change Bowl, now do they take Pitt who's only 5 hour drive away?

didnt the acc loose a bowel game this year?

And could have been called for roughing the passer...

Yea, I was thinking the B10 will get 3 NY6 bowls. They'll only get 2. OSU to CFP and PSU to Rose. So, MSU will probably go to Quick Lane Bowl vs us.

Maybe Pitt can take a sick day and call in sick.

A loss in either bowl is a pr and recruiting disaster.
And a win is just breaking from a pr pt of view.

The only thing that might happen is the Detroit Bowl thinking that MSU is going to be a 7 or 6 win team for awhile and pass on them this season, Indiana who is within driving distance and rarely goes bowling would then get the slot.

Also Michigan State has one of the most insecure fan bases in all of sports so I could see their AD trying to avoid the Detroit Bowl since the Sparty's will cry how the Walmart Wolverines will make fun of them for going to "bad bowl" before the Walmart Wolverines can even make fun of them for going to a bad bowl.
