Jonathan Milligan is a bit of a forgotten man.

Milligan, a redshirt junior, is one of four players competing for minutes at the point guard position. Between Justice Kithcart’s lightning quickness, Damon Wilson’s ranginess and flashes of potential and the intrigue of Jamel Artis directing the offense, Milligan seems to get lost in the shuffle among fans.

But if his desired style of play is any indication, Milligan doesn’t mind. With a team full of established scorers, Milligan is looking to exemplify what a point guard is typically thought of as - a distributor and leader in operating the offense.

“I’m feeling good just working and learning how to put my teammates in the right spots and getting the scorers involved,” Milligan said. “We have a bunch of seniors returning and they have their roles. They have to put the ball in the basket and my job is to put them in the right spots.”
