Mintz.....Pitt's Backcourt 2022-23

I don't follow recruiting and
usually stay out of the
recruiting discussions on
here. Assuming that Mintz
signs with Pitt, I feel Capel
landed a legit ACC guard.
Next season we will have
a backcourt of Odukale and
Horton, both experienced,
along with Mintz. We'll
undoubtedly land at least
another guard, with the
possibility of Jeffresss and
Santos at wing/guard. IMO
that gives us a strong group
even with Sibande leaving.

It appears that Capel is going
all out to make 22-23 a break
out year. Mintz is an excellent
addition. Hopefully it's just
the start.

One of these threads here had some names they’re pursuing. I don’t follow it all that closely either to know the targets. Most of what I know comes from here and maybe a Peak tweet or retweet. @gary2 posted a bunch and was fairly optimistic we’d be getting other commitments - in his word - soon. If you sift thru a few of the topics you should find a few related recruiting posts.

Yes. Adding a couple of equally talented big men remains a serious need.
