Okay, Okay, Okay... after tearing out my hair and replacing my television I have finally cooled down (this weekend was one to forget for Pittsburgh football (pro and college))
Now that I have calmed down and can think rationally I want to make some observations from the Penn State Game.
1. Our run game should not be an area of concern anymore Ollison looked good and ran strong.
2. Our passing game was always going to be a concern inexperienced O-Line, inexperienced WR and a young QB even in perfect weather that isn't a great combination for good passing game. In that weather near impossible to move the ball through the air. Once PSU knew we couldn't pass they loaded the box to stop the run.
3. If we get the extra point, the field goal and get that punt off I think we go into halftime with the lead and the second half is a lot different with all those mistakes we didn't come out thinking we could win in the second half.
Narduzzi has a lot of work to do but I think he is the guy to get the job done. I know I am in the minority right now but I think every coach has a game like this how he and his team reacts to this game will be telling. He does need to learn to keep his emotions in check on the sidelines we can't be getting 15 yard penalties because he is in a bad mood.
