Monmouth 73 WVU 65

Not sure why WVU would go with a basketball ops guy over Everhart who has like 20 years of D1 head coaching experience.

Everhart was too close to Huggins so they probably felt they needed to make a clean break. It’s puzzling to me but also the new coach is just there for 1 year. He will never get the full time job next season. WVU feels their program is top 25 and in the best conference and that they can attract a big time coach or strong resume up and comer.

Monmouth was picked 10th in their conference and by the way, only you and 5 other people could name the conference that they play in.

The WVU coach lost to a garbage small school program

The other teams on Pitt's schedule are not doing Pitt's NET any favors. I'm looking at you too Notre Dame.

Monmouth actually left the MAAC two years ago. They play in the Colonial now.

I forgot and I keep track of this stuff. The Colonial is the most confusing league to me. For one, its not even the Colonial anymore. Its the Coastal. I wonder if the ACC dropping the Coastal Division branding allowed them to do that. They have such a weird mix of teams that don't seem to have much in common: football schools (Delaware, William & Mary), HBCUs, weird sounding football schools (Elon, Campbell, Towson), southern non-football schools (CC, UNCW), northern non-football schools (Northeastern, Stony Brook, Hofstra)

Now they lose to Southern Methodist. 2-2. Someday, you’ll learn about this game called college basketball SMF. SOMEDAY. Coaching matters

That will be his spin now

No. My spin is they are missing 2 starters. Not many teams can overcome that. When Kriisa comes back and the other dude gets his mental health waiver, they'll be one of those rando 8-10 B12 teams who have 8 Q1/2 wins and make the NCAAT. But they need the mentally ill dude to get his waiver.

Just to be clear, you predicted he'd get the waiver.

He was denied the mental health waiver AGAIN, despite every transfer being eligible immediately as many times as they want, according to you. L

That dude had his waiver appeal denied, so it looks like you need to reevaluate your prediction.

Actually, to be clear, he predicted that he'd have his waiver long before now.

The waiver is coming. They just have to prove further how much better Ruby Memorial is equipped to deal with his terrible mental condition than the Bozeman, Montana facilities. He could not stay in Bozeman. Morgantown is known to be one of the top places to treat mental health. Once he gets diagnosed with schizophrenia or sociopathy, he will lead WVU to the Big Dance.

I hope I do take this L. Would love to see WVU go 13-18
Well you took the L on battle and “every transfer will be eligible they can just claim mental health”
Mental health waivers are up 1000 percent from last year and unless there was documented proof of meeting with counselors they’ve been overwhelmingly denied so

His final appeal was denied. L

Governor Justice is stepping in and Attorney General Morrissey. This kid has clear mental health issues. Unfortunately just a really sick kid and the only thing that can cure him is playing games in Morgantown, WV. Just practicing while going to school for free and playing next year cannot cure his mental health condition. The NCAA will realize this. Also, apparently, he is Native American and the experience for Native Americans in a diverse city such as Morgantown is much better for mental health than in Montana where there are a large amount of Native Americans.

It’s OVA. Another big L. No more responses from me. Just another L for ya

Wvu has some major problems to even get to a winning record this year. As long as we beat them, that's all that matters. I don't care what they do the rest of the time they play. But it's obvious it won't be pretty. They don't even have a real head coach. And coaching matters.

I want to beat them into submission.

It would be great to beat them by 40 or 50 and listen to their hillbilly fans making excuses for sucking so bad. First, we have to prove ourselves against some stiffer competition. If we can beat some of these better teams, I'm sure wvu won't be much of a problem for us. We still have some work to do.
