In fairness though, West Virginia basketball has sucked for the last 5 years.
They were a three seed in the NCAA tournament just three years ago.

True dat. His 3 seed was sent home in the first weekend by an 11 seed, though. Still a good team. I stand corrected. They were a three seed in the NCAA tournament just three years ago.
They just lost by 1 point to an over ranked Virginia team but it’s a loss non the less. They now have 3 losses.
Virginia lost to an unranked Wisconsin (who also has 2 losses) by 24… but barely losing to them is a great success for wvuMissed opportunity for a resume-building win. This isnt a Stallings-level team as BballinsiderfromPitt predicted. We should beat them in a few weeks but we'll be maybe a 2 point favorite. Its going to be close.
Neither team broke 60 so a typical Virginia game
The Kenny Payne comment is ridiculous.I hate to make WVU's near win look bad but UVa is God-awful. If Kenny Payne were coaching them, they'd honestly go 0-31. But they'll be in the NCAAT
Every comment he makes on the matter is ridiculous. They’re possibly the worse big 12 team. And 2 2 time transfers have been denied since we last commented. An all time L for SMFThe Kenny Payne comment is ridiculous.
UVA simply doesn't have a frontcourt. They were outrebounded by 13 tonight. That's an issue that's probably going to plague them all season. They just don't have the bodies.
There's no guarantees the Wahoos make the tourney.
Uva cant score eitherThe Kenny Payne comment is ridiculous.

Florida is the only decent opponent where baskets were easy.Uva cant score either
Ali Ali, an akron 2 time transfer with a documented mental health issues, denied a waiver. When SMF speaks, he is wrong
Only a matter of time

Exiled WVU guard RaeQuan Battle and family hire lawyer, tackle NCAA waiver denial
MORGANTOWN — RaeQuan Battle and his family, as promised, are going into a full court press challenging the NCAA's decision to deny him a transfer waiver and make him immediately eligible to play for the West Virginia men's basketball...fanrecap.com
This kid is really really sick. The only thing that can save him is playing basketball games this year for West Virginia. Practicing with the team and playing a full season next year isn't nearly good enough to cure him of his terrible mental disability. He is a threat to the local Morgantown population unless he is able to play in basketball games. The NCAA will realize this and the Hoopies will be going dancing.
Are you ever right about anything? They’re terrible, btwOnly a matter of time

If he's "really, really sick", maybe he shouldn't be playing basketball and instead tending to the priority, which is his mental health. If he's that sick, he should be in a mental institution to get him help 24/7. And if he isn't "really really sick", then the decision was made and his waiver was denied. Case closed.
No, dont you see. The only thing that can cure him of this terrible, debilitating mental illness that plagues him is playing in basketball games. Just practicing with the team and playing next year cannot cure him. The NCAA will realize this because they cannot have a psychopath walking around one of its campuses. The second his waiver is granted, he will be 100% cured.
I realize that. I was being facetious because of the absurdity of the case. In either case, he shouldn't be on a basketball court or in a college if he's that screwed up. But that would fit the profile of a wvu basketball player.
Couldn’t resist. Now about that Adou guy……..(yeah I know. Your acknowledgement duly noted)It’s OVA. Another big L. No more responses from me. Just another L for ya
I acknowledge he’s playing yes. He’s averaging 8 points and .6 assists per game. Yes also 7 boards. When the competition heats up, that isn’t good enough at Kentucky. He will be part of the reason Kentucky isn’t Kentucky standards this yearCouldn’t resist. Now about that Adou guy……..(yeah I know. Your acknowledgement duly noted)
