List from MSN includes our two closest rivals, PSU and WVU, but also Paul Chryst's Wisconsin team. Some of the others listed are among the former elite teams of college football. To see whole list, go to MSN.com.

PAC-12 Taking a beating:
OREGON
Most prognosticators figured Oregon would fall after losing quarterback Marcus Mariota, but nothing like they have this season. The Ducks opened the season ranked seventh in the AP Poll, but lost in Week 2 to Michigan State, followed by losses to Utah and Washington State.
USC
It's been a shaky year for USC, which started on the wrong foot with coach Steve Sarkisian's off-field issues. He was eventually dismissed, and the team had tough losses to Stanford, Washington and Notre Dame. They did fight back to beat Utah in late October.
UCLA
UCLA knew they'd have some hiccups with a freshman quarterback, and their season has been up and down. Consecutive conference losses to Arizona State and Stanford have left them on the outside looking in for contention of the Pac-12 title after being ranked 13th to open the year.
ARIZONA STATE
Arizona State opened the season ranked No. 15 in the AP Poll, but couldn't overcome their difficult schedule. They lost at Texas A&M in Week 1, and were later demolished by USC and Utah. They also lost at home to Oregon.
ARIZONA
Rich Rodriguez's squad was on the map last year, and entered the 2015 season ranked No. 22 in the AP Poll. After starting the year 3-0 with a weak out-of-conference schedule, they lost big to UCLA and Stanford, and later had a disappointing loss to Washington State.

Big Ten
WISCONSIN-The Badgers have been working themselves back up the rankings after losing at Alabama in Week 1. They also lost to undefeated Iowa, but have held their own in the easier parts of their schedule.
PENN STATE
The Nittany Lions have only two losses, but they don't have a major win to show for their efforts. Despite the presence of top NFL prospect quarterback Christian Hackenberg, they lost to Temple in Week 1 and Ohio State later in the year. They barely edged Maryland later in the season, winning by one point.
NEBRASKA
Huskers fans always have high hopes, but they didn't know what to expect after the team made the surprising hire of Mike Riley in the offseason. Nebraska lost the opener to BYU on a Hail Mary, lost by a field goal to Miami in Week 3 and started their Big Ten season 1-3.
NORTHWESTERN:
Northwestern looked like a true Big Ten contender after shocking Stanford to open the season. They won their next four games, but their streak was halted with blowout losses to Michigan and Iowa.
MARYLAND:
It was a make-or-break year for head coach Randy Edsall, but the Terrapins have been in a free fall since Week 2. They lost to Bowling Green at home, and then lost their first four Big Ten games. Edsall was fired in mid-October.

ACC:
GEORGIA TECH
The ACC has improved depth this season, to the chagrin of the Yellow Jackets. They've struggled after opening the season No. 16, going on a five-game losing streak that included Notre Dame, Duke, North Carolina, Clemson and Pitt. They did work to save their season by beating an undefeated Florida State team.
VT
The Hokies got votes in the AP Poll entering the season, but they're now just fighting for bowl contention. They gave Ohio State a game in Week 1, but had terribly disappointing losses to East Carolina, Pitt, Miami and Duke.
LOUISVILLE:
Louisville got some votes in the polls during the preseason, but opened the year 0-3 with a brutal schedule vs. Auburn, Houston and Clemson. They also lost to Florida State when the Seminoles were undefeated.
MIAMI:
Miami started the year 3-0, but their season quickly went downhill from there. After losing three of their next four games, including a 58-0 home loss to Clemson, head coach Al Golden was fired.

Big-12:
KSU
Kansas State knew they had a brutal opening schedule in the Big 12, but preparation hasn't helped them. They lost their first four games in the conference, including heart-breakers to Oklahoma State and TCU. Coach Bill Synder's time as head coach could be drawing to a close.
TEXAS
WVU
The Mountaineers showed an impressive offense early in the season, scoring more than 40 points in their first three games. They followed up that hot streak with a three-game losing streak vs. some of the Big 12's best teams, including blowout losses to Oklahoma, Baylor and TCU.

SEC:
AUBURN
GEORGIA
ARKANSAS
MIZZOU
SOUTH CAROLINA

I don't see STATE at all....that is crazy

As a fan....it is Southern Cal.
But when the HC is hammered at games meetings and practice....think the team might feel that??

I like Pat Haden and certainly wish him well with his health...But Jmo he has to go!

A lot of people bought old Toddy's preseason hype that this was the year his High Octane Sun Devils would win the Pac 12 & were a sleeper to make the playoff.

That's my favorite. The roster is becoming his and the record is starting to fall in place. As far as Chryst is concerned he's going to play to his abilities and be a 7 or 8 wins a year type coach.

Arizona State has been decent under Graham, this year though they have monumentally fallen backwards. I don't know if they will even win 6 games and get to a bowl. At some point you have to play defense, and theirs is putrid.
