Cowher ripped Marvin Lewis a new one. Put ALL the blame on Marvin for tolerating his thugs (my words, not Cowher's).Surprised that Merril Hoge said just now on ESPN that Marvin Lewis is blameless in all of this.
Look he lost control of his team(if he ever had control). You think that would have happened with Bill Belichick on the sidelines?
Yeah Burfict is a thug, dirty player and should be suspended for at least 8 games next year to send a message to the players that dirty play won't be tolerated. That said, Marvin Lewis should be on the hot seat if not canned. He had no control whatsoever of what any of his players were doing.
What does Deion Sanders know about contact? As talented as he was as a cover-corner, he avoided contact every chance that he could. He couldn't cover the run to save his life. Not sure what is more stupid, Deion Sanders saying Burfict shouldn't have been penalized, or McCarron saying it only rained when they had the ball and stopped when the Steelers had it.
Agree. Let's remember Martin Lewis employeed another proud Mountaineer, Chris Henry. Lewis is a bottom feeder.Cowher ripped Marvin Lewis a new one. Put ALL the blame on Marvin for tolerating his thugs (my words, not Cowher's).

The rain? Blame God for that one. Because He dislikes the Bungles.LOL, AJ McCarron at his after game press conference making excuses
1)Said every time they got the ball it was pouring rain but it seemed like the Steelers didn't have that as much
2)Said there should have been towels covering the balls because the footballs were all hard to grip
Maybe he should blame his defensive players along with Marvin Lewis who lost total control of the team.

Well it was scrolling on ESPN that there are no plans for Marvin Lewis to be let go. I mean, for the organization to not even consider it shows how out of touch they are and why they really are the "Bungles".I am actually surprised Lewis wasn't let go years ago. Bengal's management has to look inward. you employ guys like Burfect and Pacman and you get what you got last night.

The guy has never won a playoff game, that's reason enough to fire himThe problem is:
A. Marvin Lewis is the only successful coach they've had in quite a while.
B. It's really late to fire a coach right now. Though, that didn't stop the Broncos from firing John Fox last year.
C. A lot of other teams are looking for coaches too.

burfict should be suspended a minimum of 4 games next year
how so? Except for the Shazier non-penalty combined with the non-fumble on the same play (which by the way was the best thing that could have happened to the Bengals as the Steelers got the obligatory offensive holding call right after the hubub which was then followed by Ben being knocked out of the game which resulted in the Bengals getting the ball about 15 yards from where the whole Shazier dust-up stated in the first place with momentum and then a touchdown) I thought they had a good game.If anyone gets fired, it should be the officials. That was just ugly and stupid.
They should fire the commissioner who's let the rule book become RETARDED and out of control under his watch. What they need is a committee mandated to eliminate at least 50% of the rules and/or strictly define EXACTLY what the rules mean, with little discretion for the refs, like WHAT exactly is PI? Holding? Unsportsmanlike Conduct? Celebration? all that arbitrary, subjective NONSENSE! And either eliminate or severely restrict replay. The sport is garbage because the refs have become the focus and the stars of the game, Fox actually employs "expert ref" Mike Periera in the booth because the actual game play is not the most important thing, it's the officials, who decide almost every game with subjective, opinion based, inconsistent penalties. If anyone gets fired, it should be the officials. That was just ugly and stupid.
how so?
Not to defend McCarron but I actually mentioned this during the game that it did seem to be the case....seemed like the only time I heard the pattering of rain on the broadcast was when they had the ball. kind of funny....since I kind of like the kid (rare on that squad) and he said "seemed" I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but it was still kind of a silly thing to say...at least he manned up and answered questions unlike Burfict and Pacman who continued to be aholes....Not sure what is more stupid, Deion Sanders saying Burfict shouldn't have been penalized, or McCarron saying it only rained when they had the ball and stopped when the Steelers had it.
Maybe. But considering their history, they may not reach a playoff game to lose anytime soon with another coach. The guy has never won a playoff game, that's reason enough to fire him

Bill's memory is questionable, especially when one considers a few of his former Stillers....Cowher tolerated Greg Loyd. Loyd wasn't exactly Boy Scout material. But he was a very good LB. So Cowher looked the other way.
