MOST UNBELIEVABLE LAST 1 1/2 MINUTES EVER IN A GAME!!

no Ben, no Brown (concussion)?

Steelers just got a stay, but I love the Bungles going out in this manner

bungles fans with regard to the steelers actually are what cultists say pitt fans are with regard to psu

players too

lewis should be fired, burfict and pacman should be released (smart one, pacman! theres the hoopie! argue with the refs some more), burfict should be suspended a minimum of 4 games next year

steelers are shit-stirrers (like all teams) and play rough but they don't go over the line again and again and again the way the bungles do that team is out of control and the league's gotta do something

I agree. How many times do you see a team in control less than 2 minutes, run out the clock, and then fumble and lose the ball. Shazeer played one helluva game. Then, our QB comes out and can't throw more than a 20 yard pass, drives the ball down to the field to the 50. Joey Porter and AB get 2 penalties to put us in field goal range. Unbelievable, I am speechless, go Steelers.

Surprised that Merril Hoge said just now on ESPN that Marvin Lewis is blameless in all of this.

Look he lost control of his team(if he ever had control). You think that would have happened with Bill Belichick on the sidelines?

Yeah Burfict is a thug, dirty player and should be suspended for at least 8 games next year to send a message to the players that dirty play won't be tolerated. That said, Marvin Lewis should be on the hot seat if not canned. He had no control whatsoever of what any of his players were doing.

Not sure what is more stupid, Deion Sanders saying Burfict shouldn't have been penalized, or McCarron saying it only rained when they had the ball and stopped when the Steelers had it.

Cowher ripped Marvin Lewis a new one. Put ALL the blame on Marvin for tolerating his thugs (my words, not Cowher's).

What does Deion Sanders know about contact? As talented as he was as a cover-corner, he avoided contact every chance that he could. He couldn't cover the run to save his life.

Agree. Let's remember Martin Lewis employeed another proud Mountaineer, Chris Henry. Lewis is a bottom feeder.

bungles fans trying to say shazier hit was worse rofl

that was a brutal but entirely legal hit

when you come at the ballcarrier squared up like that it's impossible not to hit with your helmet first. unless you run standing straight up and try to bearhug the guy. the defender's choice is to lower his head and hit with the crown or not lower it and hit with the facemask/forehead area of the helmet. meanwhile the ballcarrier is allowed to lower his head and lead with the crown any time he wants.

burfict intentionally tried to knock brown's head off when he was completely defenseless doesn't matter that vonteze hit with his shoulder not his helmet

then the bungles decide to mix it up with porter as he's going off the field after going out to brown, joey porter is more than happy to say several things back, pacman loses his shit like he'd been doing all game already (can't keep a hoopie down) and that's all she wrote

poor bungles. wait no their garbage team and garbage fans deserve all the heartbreak they're getting right now.

LOL, AJ McCarron at his after game press conference making excuses

1)Said every time they got the ball it was pouring rain but it seemed like the Steelers didn't have that as much

2)Said there should have been towels covering the balls because the footballs were all hard to grip

Maybe he should blame his defensive players along with Marvin Lewis who lost total control of the team.

The rain? Blame God for that one. Because He dislikes the Bungles. o_O

I am actually surprised Lewis wasn't let go years ago. Bengal's management has to look inward. you employ guys like Burfect and Pacman and you get what you got last night.

Well it was scrolling on ESPN that there are no plans for Marvin Lewis to be let go. I mean, for the organization to not even consider it shows how out of touch they are and why they really are the "Bungles".

The problem is:
A. Marvin Lewis is the only successful coach they've had in quite a while.
B. It's really late to fire a coach right now. Though, that didn't stop the Broncos from firing John Fox last year.
C. A lot of other teams are looking for coaches too.

The guy has never won a playoff game, that's reason enough to fire him

Agree, there is no reason to get rid of Lewis. Remember what they were like before him? But they DO have to quit employing players with questionable character. If you are in a league trying to clean up it's players and the game, why would any team even take a chance on players like Burfict and Jones?

He should be suspended for the season. Martavis Bryant got 4 games for doing something HARMLESS, THAT HURT NOBODY, smoking weed in February! LOL! No doubt the stuff Burfict did deserves at least a year and at least $100,000 fine.

If anyone gets fired, it should be the officials. That was just ugly and stupid.
how so? Except for the Shazier non-penalty combined with the non-fumble on the same play (which by the way was the best thing that could have happened to the Bengals as the Steelers got the obligatory offensive holding call right after the hubub which was then followed by Ben being knocked out of the game which resulted in the Bengals getting the ball about 15 yards from where the whole Shazier dust-up stated in the first place with momentum and then a touchdown) I thought they had a good game.

They should fire the commissioner who's let the rule book become RETARDED and out of control under his watch. What they need is a committee mandated to eliminate at least 50% of the rules and/or strictly define EXACTLY what the rules mean, with little discretion for the refs, like WHAT exactly is PI? Holding? Unsportsmanlike Conduct? Celebration? all that arbitrary, subjective NONSENSE! And either eliminate or severely restrict replay. The sport is garbage because the refs have become the focus and the stars of the game, Fox actually employs "expert ref" Mike Periera in the booth because the actual game play is not the most important thing, it's the officials, who decide almost every game with subjective, opinion based, inconsistent penalties.

Not to defend McCarron but I actually mentioned this during the game that it did seem to be the case....seemed like the only time I heard the pattering of rain on the broadcast was when they had the ball. kind of funny....since I kind of like the kid (rare on that squad) and he said "seemed" I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but it was still kind of a silly thing to say...at least he manned up and answered questions unlike Burfict and Pacman who continued to be aholes....

Obviously God and Mother Nature are both steeler fans, hence the rain.. Thought the refs did a good job on this game..

Maybe. But considering their history, they may not reach a playoff game to lose anytime soon with another coach.
My suspicion is, barring him doing something like each the super bowl first, Lewis will be gone the season when he doesn't make the playoffs.

There may be something to the rain stopping. Maybe the CHIEF had something to do with it.

There just was nothing better than seeing Burfict and Pac-Man play such a huge part in blowing that game. Two most despicable pro athletes out there. Quick question for all Steeler and Panther fans... is there anyone who because of their rivalry of our favorite pro and college teams that is more un-likeable than Pac-Man? Flat out product of his environment.
