what do you do with them? (realistically)
* if murphy has his degree, you have to tell him to move on. if he has his degree, i don't know if you even need to guarantee his scholarship. not to be harsh but he doesn't belong in the ACC unless it's as a walk-on. if he doesn't have his degree, i suppose there's not much you can do if he wants to stay. if he transfers, that'd be 4 schools in 4 years - i can't imagine he wants that. again, if he has his degree, what's he even doing on campus- get your master's somewhere else.
* brown: he'll be a senior. i can't see kicking a kid out who came into the program at rock bottom, in his senior season. if PT is important to him, you see if it's worth transferring for him and let him make his decision. if he doesn't want to leave, i think the right thing to do is eat the scholarship for a year. he won't contribute much but you have to do the right thing. having said that, if he's 50-50, you give him a push to move on, letting him know he doesn't figure into any real plans next season.
