I have one source in college hoops. I asked him his thoughts about a number of coaches and finally got back to me:
Mussleman: great X and O but horrible with player relationships. He is a liar and can't be trusted.
Shrewsberry: Would be a great hire if they strike out on their top tier targets.
Grant: Great coach from X and O and with players. Would be an awesome hire but doesn't seem like it would happen. Thinks would want to stay South.
Cronin: would be a definite upgrade to Stallings and would put Pitt in top half of ACC
Mack: Never will happen but Pitt would be crazy not to pursue if he was remotely interested
Really doesn't have any insight on Hurley.
Thought I would just pass his/her $.02 on.
