I'm always annoyed that Pitt doesn't give more prominence to the National Championship banners. It's not like they are not real championships. They are just as real as the 9 football championships--that is, determined without a championship game, but still recognized as the championship. If you ever see photos of Kansas or North Carolina's gyms, they have their pre-NCAA championships hung with equal prominence to their NCAA championships.
