  • We got to our tailgate at 7:15 and felt late based on everyone already being there
  • Tailgate was mixed with PITT & PSU fans.....great time together
  • The PSU fans that go to their games are not the same as their bloggers on BWI
  • Hot as hell yesterday.....still hydrating
  • PITT punched PSU in the face early and built a nice lead
  • PSU punched PITT in the gut and came back
  • The crowd was so loud that many times could not hear the pentalty announced
  • I said a few week ago that we should not play this game yearly.....I was wrong
  • The St of PA and both programs all win by playing this game
  • McSorley is really good and going to be a handful for 2 more seasons
  • Barkely was good but JC was just as good....2 warriors
  • PITT OL was dominant
  • PITT's D got tired from the heat and we have no real depth on D....need to take care of this
  • We need more athletic LBs!
  • We need more athletis DBs....Ford is on the way. Wade????
  • '76 team on the field gave me goosebumps
  • I saw many of the recruits at the game and it could not have gone better for PITT
  • Crowd was 2.5/1 PITT
  • My wife wore a blue PITT jersey but took it off due to heat and had a white t shirt on...ugh
  • I am still sweating
  • Both bands played well!
  • Jimmy likes to throw people under the bus in his post game PC
  • If I knew clapping was allowed, I would have...haha
  • For only the 2nd time, Sweet Caroline sounded cool
  • I found out what a beer bonzilla ! Wish we had this back in the day!
  • Hail to PITT

Gee 9 finally a sensible post after a year of blasting Psu.I agree it was s good game, good atmosphere and both teams fans were well behaved.I can't believe you didn't throw one more Ped State and Joe Knew for old time sake in there!!!!Good luck the rest of the year.I only wish both teams played Wvu every year and we'd have two other games like this one!Money talks so it will never happen and that's too bad!bwdik

The blue jerseys probably didn't help in the heat. I was at Navy-UConn game yesterday (wife's nephew a middie) and they also were in blues with UConn in all white in temperatures in the low-mid 90s. UConn dominated the second half coming back from 21-0 in late 2nd quarter to go ahead 24-21 before Navy scored late to win it. I wonder how much might have been the dark uniforms in the heat vs the white ones? Navy's defense was stout in the first half but awful in the 2nd. Maybe it wasn't a factor but it may have been.

All that dark blue could only have hurt by absorbing more heat! The unis did look cool though.
