And I don't think ND will have any problem with Pitt, even if they are lulled to sleep and a false sense of security. A team of grandmas could beat this Pitt team as they are being coached now.

Personally, I don't care about ND this year. I would rather see us play poor against ND and then lull FSU into taking us lightly. That game, at home, I would love to see us go toe to toe with them.

That’s a humorous thread concept, but lost in the horror of the referee’s rigging the game is the fact that the offensive play calling WAS abhorrent. Winning the game would have covered up for that reality. It’s similar to ur Steelers having “won” a few games this season thanks to good defense (more accurately, opponents squandering easy touchdowns). It lets Matt Canada (and Tomlin) off the hook. Canada and Cignetti are deadly poison to their respective programs; it’s frankly better off to lose most or all games to finally reinforce this fact and force the respective orgs to fire these clowns.

So really the last thing we need is for Pitt to squeak meaningless and dismal 17-13 ‘wins’ over dregs like WF, BC or Syracuse and give Coach Stammers a reason not to fire good ole buddy Cig.

He needs to be gone, and at 2-10 even Duz would realize he has to do it; but at 4-8, or Heaven forbid 5-7, I’m not sure he would.
