I do not understand Pitt's position with coach Narduzzi and public relations.
Pitt fans know that Pitt's position in local sports is in a trailing position. They are behind the iconic Steelers,the Penquins and the Pirates.
In my opinion Pitt's coach has to be very aware of public relations. It may not be enough to win.
Pitt has to win their way into the fans heart. Pitt has to win the public relations battle.
While the Steelers hold open practices in Latrobe, Narduzzi will not even allow the press to watch the practices. He give a reluctant 5 minute interview at the end of practice.
Pitt and Narduzzi needs to change this practice. Does he really think keeping the practices private in August is going to give him a huge tactical advantage during games in the fall.
Winning is not enough for Pitt. They have to win the public relations battle. Failure to do so will result in small crowds despite the record.
