Small things like this contribute to how and why winners are built. Smart business, former great players are a huge asset to a program and keeping them in the family does a lot of good for a program. Often that translate to direct $$$ in the form of contributions: Duzzi's off to a very nice start.

No doubt...what better endorsement for Pitt football than Larry Fitzgerald, in fact if our athletic department had any type of marketing smarts they would be handing out that stuff free to people like Fitz, Revis and McCoy. These guys are always in the public's eye and what better way to promote Pitt than to see these guys in Pitt gear.

I was disappointed that 60 minutes last night did a big piece on Revis, and included his uncle Sean Gilbert, and not once was it even hinted at that they both went to PITT. Not one mention. Revis is great advertising for the school, you'd think someone from Pitt with advance knowledge of the piece might have pulled some strings. I mean, this is the same show that did a piece on Saban and turned it into an all-out infomercial for the U of Alabama.
