Article Narduzzi says Hamlin and Coleman are "getting closer"

There were two new additions to Pitt’s depth chart this week, and they were notable.

Sophomore Damar Hamlin and redshirt freshman Therran Coleman both showed up on the two-deep that was released Monday. It was the 2017 depth chart debut for both players after they were each limited in training camp due to injuries.

“They’re getting closer,” Pat Narduzzi said at his weekly press conference. “They’re getting closer and they’re on the depth chart. That probably said enough, I guess, right?”

Our recruiting is getting maligned at the moment and not without some merit but Ford, Whitehead, Hamlin and Coleman have all been non-participants and our DB's have still looked much better than last year. That should count for something.

I'd wait until after this weekend to come closer to making that declaration regarding our DBs. Hopefully it holds true, though.
