UNDECIDED
The skinny:
Proctor is down to Penn State, Pitt and Virginia Tech but it’s unlikely the Nittany Lions will have room. This should come down to the Panthers and Hokies. He will announce this weekend but will take officials to Pitt and Virginia Tech anyhow, so it could be a soft commit.
Prediction: Virginia Tech. It’s a tough call between the Hokies and Panthers but I think he likes Bud Foster’s defensive style better.

Info on the premium board.

He has only visited VT out of the 3 finalists. And is announcing. So all signs point to VT

Not that I don't think he'll pick VaTech in the end, but the all-star game is making pick for tv. He'll still make visits, so who knows after.

VT, but if PSU develops an opening he'll flip to them. He wants Penn State but there's no room at the inn. He will make his official there anyway in Jan. If a spot opens up, he'll must likely decommitt then committ.

You don't think Proctor is better than Faison-Walden? C'mon man, don't be dumb. You boot that kid's ship in a heartbeat for Proctor.

Franklin offered Faison-Walden and he accepted and verballed. Franklin has more class than to pull a ship on a recruit.

The only class franklin has is to drop the cl and what you have left is franklin the rape enabler.

Correct, he's taking an official in Jan and there might be some openings due to early entries and/or transfers. This being the case, he'll make the switch during his visit.

He said he is still taking his visits so it is possible that where he commits and where he ends up may be two different things.

9champs, you're one of the reasons why venture over here and read posts. You're right on time and as always, an original come back. Question for you: are you planning on handing down your handle to your kids, grandkids, great grand kids..........

Answer the questions, LUMPY...

How did the Clemson game turn out?

Since you guys hang your hats on recruiting, how can PSU out-recruit Pitt but lose to them on the field?

Did Joe know?

You guys bragged all the way up until game time this year that PSU was going to win...

How did that turn out???? BAHHAHAHAHAH!

We'll be celebrating again next year too!

Some yes, others not so much. I knew it was going to be an up hill battle, but didn't predict to get so far behind. You guys just couldn't put the game away and it came down to a last possession. Congratulations on your win and beating Clemson.

Any thoughts on PSU-USC Game Predictions?
You didn't ask me but I'll give an answer. I think it will play out much like most of our games from half-time of the Minnesota game. We'll play 11 - 12 defensive linemen, 7 - 8 offensive linemen, 6 - 7 wide receivers, 3 - 4 running backs, 5 - 6 linebackers, and 7 - 8 defensive backs. By the second half our entire team will be fresh and they'll start to take over. I'll make it 38 - 31 PSU after falling behind in the first half 10 or more.

BTW: I chose half-time of the Minnesota game because Trace only started to become a running after half-time of that game. Prior to that if you stopped Barkley you stopped our running game. Once Trace started to run our entire offense played quite differently. People like to point to Indiana as having stopped our running game. This is only partially true as Trace hurt his ankle (badly) in the first quarter and didn't have a single "designed" run again in that game, which allowed Indiana to take Barkley out of the equation.

You are a joke. At Vanderbilt he had players that were involved in a rape scandal. When Franklin left Vandy - he was pillaging Vandy's recruiting class, but now all of a sudden he has honor in recruiting. You are a clown - Franklin and PS are a win at all costs program.

The ACC has upgraded it's coaches tremendously the past 2-3 years w/ Fuente at VT, Bronco at UVA, getting Petrino back to Louisville. Duzz at Pitt, The guy? up at BC, Richt at UMiami, etc., etc.
The ACC has serious football minds & recruiters at schools they will be able to succeed at......

H2 PITT !!!

I can't see PSU putting up anywhere near 38 points on USC. I like USC in this game.

Why would any PSU fan have been confident about beating Pitt back in September? I can see thinking it would be a close game, but to think PSU was head and shoulders better at that time would have been crazy.

Well first, they are completely delusional. Second they were healthy and we barely beat Villanova. This message board was filled with the peds on here saying they were going to kill us.
