This is being reported today by ESPN and others. NCAA has become a total joke. This is utterly non-sensical. Mark Few all but called Emmert a lousy leader the other day; things like this just continue to affirm it.
The gist of it: College coaches can only recruit some players in each individual state during June evaluation period. For example, in NY, coaches can only observe your play if you're playing in state's public school association. If you're private, no dice. Eliminates many of the best programs and best players from the recruiting period.
