With only 6 teams in the ACC, 34 automatic qualifier slots isn't bad. On a per team basis, it would break down as follows by conference:

Big Ten 5.71
ACC 5.67
Pac-12 4.40
Big 12 3.75
MAC 3.13
EIWA 2.94
EWL 2.57
SoCon 1.5

Five Pitt wrestlers were in the top 33 in the latest coaches and RPI: Forys, Zanetta, Rahmani, Harvey, and Solomon.

Reactions: Chaos
With five slots at 133, Forys is in if he wins his first ACC tourney match. With only 3 at 157, Rahmani has to make the semi-finals. He might do that without wrestling if he is seeded 2nd. Solomon definitely should get in, probably without wrestling as I imagine he will be seeded #2.

Harvey has a shot too at 184. He looked bad at the Cliff Keans, but looked much improved the last few matches of the season. Wentzel has a chance too. Zanetta is almost the reverse of Harvey — started the season strong but finished poorly. And, there only are 3 slots at 141.

We should get at least 4 qualifiers with a chance at 6 or 7.
