Good hire for WVU. I think this is one of the best P5 hires this year personally. I just don't know if the ceiling at WVU is much higher than what Holgorsen reached. The Mountaineers are just such black sheep in the conference that it's tough to recruit the top kids in the states they play in (mainly Texas), and they have no local recruiting base. And going up against Texas and Oklahoma every year is always going to be difficult. Then, you have to run the gauntlet against a bunch of average to above average teams that have really good offenses that can beat you if everything goes right.
I was really hoping it would be Tony Gibson just for the laughs.
