New anti-Pitt local media narrative: Narduzzi will leave for ____!

If MSU comes open in the next few years, he will certainly take that job. However, if Dantonio stays 6, 8, 10 years, Narduzzi could easily stay here, especially if MSU has a new AD by then. He and Hollis are boys. Narduzzi is not from Michigan and only lived there 7 years. If he's here that long and has success, he could stay.

PITT should sue AC ( asshole cook) for defamation as he has no facts just to put a scare into him!

I'm not defending Mr. Cook's point of view, but I will defend his right to express his opinions. He's a columnist, for gawds sake. It is his job to write and speak his opinions. And columnists should never be hired or fired based on their opinions on specific subjects. Heck, I prefer to read columns that express opinions different than mine. They provide some healthy exercise for the brain cells. To suggest filing legal action against someone who expresses an opinion different from yours makes you look like a simple minded fool, far below the high standards usually associated with Pitt.

Yes, there are no guarantees with head coaches. However, Duzz will need to win more than 8 games to get back to the Big 10. I think Duzz is a great fit for PITT and hope he stays around for at least 5 years or longer but remember $$$ talks BS walks, show Duzz the money... if we want to keep him longterm.

Cook is only giving his opinion, which he is entitled to do so if he wants. Narduzzi has a history there and seems to be well liked, so if it came down to it, sure, he would probably go back.

However, the Spartans have a coach who is having some success and probably isn't looking to leave. Therefore anybody with half a brain can figure out that this doesn't seem like a likely scenario in the near future.

I'm pretty sure recruits are smart enough to know the situation. I'm also pretty sure that 17 year olds don't listen to talk radio very often unless they are forced to.
Giving his Opinion? Are you kidding me? I don't think so, he is out right trying to screw up this recruiting class, without a doubt, because state penn is on our schedule the next 4 years

If you think that Ron Cook has some master plan to screw up Pitt's recruiting class because we play Penn State the next four years then you are giving him way more credit than he deserves. The notion that a simpleton like Cook is sitting around scheming about how to screw up Pitt's recruiting is laughable. He doesn't put that much effort into anything, let alone his writing.

The notion that Pitt has some sort of basis for a lawsuit over this and should pursue such a course just might be the stupidest thing ever posted on this board, and that is a high hurdle to clear.

Just try to blend in and make disparaged remarks. Let me guess, you live in PITTsburgh, root for UPS & have a cardboard cutout of a coach how was fired by UPS?

If you go to the PG web site looking for Pitt stories and you can't find them then you are just not all that bright. I mean they actually have a link that takes you to a list of all Pitt stories that they have. And the way to get there is to click on the link that says "Pitt". If it took you longer than about five seconds to find the page then I can't imagine where you were looking. Literally, from the PG home page it's ONE mouse click. One.
