2021 has the chance to be the best year for the baseball team in quite a while. Might be the first year since joining the ACC where we’ll have a legit ACC-quality lineup and pitching staff.
This teams biggest two issues were
1.Lineup
2.Depth of ACC caliber players in a league that is every bit as strong as the SEC in baseball
This team has a chance to surprise a bit this year, but I think they may still be a few years out from truly competing in terms of the ability to make the tournament on a year to year basis....especially with when you look at the rest of the league and see there won’t be many easy wins, other than maybe Notre Dame who has similar issues and less pitching since literally every other team in the league is capable of making it to the tournament if they catch the right breaks
