Pitt defensive coordinator Randy Bates was asked today about Phil Campbell, who moved from safety to linebacker. This was part of his quote, but it's a little bit of (admittedly vague) insight on Mark Whipple's new offense.
"Phil is doing very well. He’s learning. It’s only the second day and things come at you fast. And Coach Whipple is messing with him with all of his new, funky stuff, which is outstanding."
