New junior college programs in Johnstown

Super excited to announce that Penn Highlands will launch men's AND women's programs for the 2025-26 JuCo season.

I spoke with most of the college coaches in the area, including Coach Gavin, about the prospect of this happening, and all - from DI to DIII - were supportive.
There isn't much of a budget behind it now, but I'd love to see it develop into the type of program that Division I programs look to for guys who can step in immediately.

Hopefully, they find some money because this could be very good for the area and with access to talent they could be a powerhouse in a few years.
