Next Year's RB's

Hmmmm....not so sure. He had quite a few carries and while I believe he has more wiggle than either Ollison or Hall, I don't know if he's special. Those special backs display what makes them great from the get go. With the way James really played the first half of the year, the position begged for one of the other backs to step to the forefront and none did.

-We are scoring 44 points per game against a loaded schedule

I'm not questioning the overall performance of the O. It's been very good except for the latter stages of the OSU and UNC games and the Miami game. You have to differentiate, to a degree, the productivity from the "trickeration" plays from the regular running plays. James, in my view, is still heads and shoulders better than the other three and more often than not the running game stalled when he wasn't in the game. I think all 3 backups are decent; don't know that any of them are special like some of the great backs we've had in the past.

I totally agree with your assessment Del....that's why I started this thread in the first place. The problem is your opinion is just that...opinion, as is mine (actually as is ALL of us). Steel on the other hand speaks in absolutes, and his opinions are fact (at least in his mind).
Steel, do us all a favor and once in a while throw in an "IMO"....or maybe an "I believe." or
"my feeling is..."

We have been in the top 15 in rushing for most of the year and people are complaining about the backups, when is the last time Pitt didn't have a 1,000 yard rusher?

-If we did a rewind to the preseason, Tyler Boyd was irreplaceable and wr had the worst group of returning wr's in Pitt history. Then Jester Weah is on his way to a 1000 yard season and 10 td season, Orndoff had a huge season, and Henderson a huge season, and thing have taken a massive uturn since. I'm still trying to piece together how the defense sunk to the bottom of the ocean, however....RB is the least of our worries.
