After the two Bozos in wingtips that Pitt had running things I couldn't understand how people could be upset that Pitt hired a women. I loved the fact that the AD was a successful D1 athlete and still do.

I really felt like a lot of the bawling that happened early had a lot to do with her gender. But I also think some Pitt fans are so entrenched in the notion that nothing can be fixed dramatically without something splashy happening so there is little belief in what is possible. That's not all on the fans, obviously. She won't be perfect but she's doing what the school needs to move the right direction.
