AD always involved at his roots. Great to see him with a couple of current Panthers. That had to be a thrill for them.

You could call it volunteering if you want but these players sign deals with these collectives and then they have them show up at certain places to justify the expense. They are wearing Alliance 412 shirts because that is who is paying them. Maybe the HM All-ACC guy is making more than $0???
They volunteered. I’m sure Kancey got a bag to sign with Alliance412 and keep him here. No one cares about Pitt hoops. It’s dead. Hugley probably got a hundred bucks

No NIL deals are "for" charity. Charity is just being used as a means to justify the expense.
Example: Hugley and Cancey sign a deal with A412 for X amount. A412 sends them on X amount of charity appearances so they have something to put down on paper as "work performed." This is all a sham. An NCAA approved sham.
They absolutely did for Cancey who is an All American. Almost no chance they gave Hugley more than a few pennies. No one pays for our bball team, even the 5th-6th best center in the ACC.
Yea, Hugley and Cancey just happened to "volunteer" at an event run by the new booster collective that is paying them. You have no clue how this works. Boosters pay the athletes and then fine some creative ways to justify the expense. Many are using charity appearances to justify it.
