He looks like he’s been on cloud 9 since he won. Every time I see videos of him, he looks so happy and has the biggest smile. So happy for him.

That’s awesome. What’s not awesome is seeing they were up 4-0, then suddenly seeing they’re down 9-4. Seems like the team has been struggling this year, granted I get it’s been tough sledding just for Pitt baseball in general.
I'd love to see him throw the 1st pitch for a Pirates' game! He's 100% Pittsburgh, and deserves it.
Isn’t there something like NCAA champions from last year automatically qualify for team trials?
Yes if there is a world team trials which there will be this year at 92kg with J'Den moving up to 97kg.
If the weight class has a returning world medalist who has accepted a there bid to Final X then the winner of the US Open gets the other spot.
