Wow! The comeback is almost complete. One more period and Thomas can seal the match.

Pitt fell short. Thomas was up 5-1 in the third, got a penalty point called on him to 5-2, escape 5-3, taken down 5-5, OT. First part of OT, Thomas pressed and almost got a takedown and, then, got taken down. 6-5 heavyweight for UNC. 19-16, Pitt loses after coming back from 16-10 to tie it (and almost won a heavyweight match that should have had Pitt well favored). Tough ACC loss to a good UNC team.

Stout had one of his best matches of the year IMO. He never puts up a lot of points but he had over 2 minutes RT and was in control entire match. Disappointing loss at HWT. Seems like the penalty point got in his head. Still up 5-3 late and had a stall warning to give up. This should never have gone to OT. We need an ACC win.
