This team was a train wreck early on. They had a pretty good chance to win last night against the number 2 ranked team who had home court advantage. This is by far Jamie's best coaching job. I'd love to see us win out and take a couple ACC tourney games and get a bid into the NCAA tournament but even if that doesn't happen the NIT wouldn't be so bad. A deep run there would be better served for our team than a one and done in the big tourney. We have a solid core coming back next season. Our best players are all sophomores and if they progress and Nix can give us 15 solid mins at center we could be right back as a top 25 team. Im excited no matter how it shakes out.
