Nits up on #4 IOWA in second half

Shocking but they seem to knock off one top 5 team at home each yr

do we?...........NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Psu is 13-13, with 4-9 conference record. They also lost to Duquesne by two dozen points.

You're a dumbass with a tired act.

I need to stay away from these boards for a while. I feel dumber every time I read something here.

13 to go...upset brewing
Slowest court storming in the history of NCAA basketball...literally did not know what to do....A lot of walkers had to be deployed and it was difficult to get the oxygen tanks down those tricky steps.

If you think we will be better next year, have some ocean front property in Zona to sell you! PSU hate them or not, and we all do, has been kicking Dixon's butt in recruiting. Has a much better class coming in next year

So..what's the wager about which team next year performs better, PSU or Pitt?
Not exactly sure how their class is so program changing...with 2 four stars and 2 3 stars.

Is ocean front property the bet, or property in Arizona?

Finally, he won't have to deal with scrubs like D.J. Newbill and Tim Frazier.

You said PSU will be better than us. It's in writing a few posts up. Now you are running as fast and far from that statement as you can. I don't blame you. But if you didn't believe it in the first place, why post such stupidity?

Ok, I will take your new bet, I will take Pitt. You take 15-11 Duquesne. Now don't try to weasel out of two separate bets in one thread. That's bad form.

Chambers will need at least 2 yrs to make that class pay off.

Dixon loads up on cupcakes. Against teams with winning records and you have a deal!

Actually Penn State is one of the few teams that consistently plays as bad or worse an OOC as Pitt does. This year the only two teams they played with a pulse were George Washington and Colorado. Their third best OOC opponent may very well be Duquesne. Of course they lost to all three of those teams. They got BC in the ACC - Big Ten challenge. Last year their best OOC game was, again, George Washington. Their second best was probably Akron. They didn't participate in the ACC - Big Ten. The year before we were by far the best OOC game they played. They also played Mississippi and St. John's (who lost at home to Robert Morris in the NIT that year).

The problem for the nitters isn't that they play a difficult schedule. It's that they play such a crappy schedule and yet still lose a fair number of those games.

St. John's (who lost at home to Robert Morris in the NIT that year).

St. John's wasn't a bad team that year & just barely missed the NCAA's...

RMU played a good overall game and had Karvel Anderson (38 pts on 9-15 shooting from 3) & Lucky Jones (25 pts, 9 reb, 5 assists) who went off in that game and beat them by double figures.

Was a fun game to watch.

Penn State basketball is garbage and always has been ....they won't be "better than Pitt" anytime soon...

Pitt beat Duq by 25
PSU lost by 25....

Nothing else needs to be said

ND beat Iowa also

Penn State also lost to Nebraska by 16 recently. They are still an awful program with little chance of even making the NIT.

I watched that game. It was, indeed, a fun game.

Also, I wasn't suggesting that St. John's was bad that season. They made the NIT, which means they were decent. But when that's your second best OOC game you really didn't play a challenging OOC schedule.

True...I was just making sure. PSU hoops does need to step it up a notch in the OOC. Pitt's is pretty bad, but ours beats them out by a decent bit.
