Does a team deserve a no.1 seed if they don't win the regular season title, and lose in semifinals of league tourney?

Kansas won the regular season, Oklahoma won the tourney.

Texas reward - #1 seed got cake walk into final four playing in regional in TEXAS.

That year was one of the committee's shadiest dealings..............
