Noah Hamlin

I think he is good enough to help us on his own, so the answer is yes. He could play WR or DB.
Seems that way to me. Looks like a player. His size would appear to be the only downside and that will change with next level nutrition and strength training.

He does look like a solid WR, who is shifty in the open field. Wouldn't hurt to have another WR in the slot to compliment guys like Henderson, Ffrench, and Tipton moving forward. Are grades an issue?

IMO it will not matter either way. Wade is an elite prospect that isn't going to choose a school based on where his buddies are. He's going to choose a school that gives him the best opportunity to succeed on the field and get to the NFL.

While we're discussing Wade, it sounds like he's headed back to UT for another visit this weekend. I'm starting to worry about UT more than PSU at this point, he's been on campus there twice already this season. That's like a 10 hour drive isn't it?

I really have never worried about Penn State.

This one is like Jeter. I think Narduzzi has done everything he can do. I think Wade HAS to know he would be a 2-way threat at Pitt and Pitt would utilize him in that manner. Even if other schools offer the same opportunity, the benefit he would have at Pitt is every fan will be calling for Wade to be a two way guy and get more touches every week, like we do with Whitehead. Whereas other schools, the fans wont know him, he isnt a local recruit, and the clamoring just wouldnt be the same.

I'm not so sure about that. Some pretty credible 247 guys have pegged Wade to PSU for some time now. He's spent as much time on PSU's campus in the last year as he has at PITT. I think the major factor playing in PSU/UT's favor is the BIG/SEC conference aspect. I've always got the vibe that Wade (specifically his dad) wants to play in one of those two conferences. It seems as though he didn't always think PITT was "big-time" enough.

HCPN has definitely shifted his attention away from those things as of late, as I think Wade sees his best opportunity for playing time and solid coaching is here at PITT.

You need to look at the CB predictions again. The last 6-8 have been for Pitt.

Hell yes you offer Hamlin if it gets you Wade. We have guys like Briggs, Motley, Lewis, J Williams and Poker on the roster taking up a ship that have not helped the program....so why the hell not take one of their ships and throw it at Hamlin to get Wade.
