WR coach would be a more likely place to start.
Honestly I think now is the time for that. Offensive coordinator I think that’s too much of a reach, but there’s a lot of benefits to bringing on a guy as a position coach that has relations with local HS kids.

I think that if someone had a pipeline of great future players, I actually like that idea. Is PR a pipeline of future kids or did we miss the boat already there? I know psu got Terry smith so I do like the idea of a high school coach for a position coach like WR assuming our new OC can handle receiver as well.

I may be wrong but I think we probably missed their best couple recruits of recent years already. I think it would still be a worthwhile hire though, they’re still a really good program that is likely to produce top end WPIAL talent, barring their next coach in this scenario keeps them on a similar path.
