Last 5 Byes
Vandy - blew a 12 point 1st Half lead at OU to lose by 30. Outscored 78-36 in a stretch, which doesn't make any sense

Oklahoma - see above. NETs flip-flopped. OU up to 38 from 45. Vandy down to 43 from 37. Not sure that both these teams will get in. Vandy has an insane schedule left. They are only favored in 1 more game. OU is favored in 3 more. Probably better that OU won this game because I think Vandy is going to cave.

UGa - lost to Alabama, they are favored in 5 more

Ohio State - at Illinois today

San Diego State - keeps narrowly avoiding Q4 losses. On Tuesday they came back from down 21 in the 1st Half and 16 with 15 minutes left to beat SJSU. Yesterday, they came back from an 8 point deficit with 7 left. NET was dinged 5, down to 49.

Pitt - we know

Last 4 In

Texas - beat LSU by 31. Come on LSU. I dont want to be right about you. I feared they'd go 2-16 after losing their Center and they just may. This is the 2nd SEC team we've played who has tanked after losing a key player. Last year, it was Caleb Grill for Mizzou, who is having a big year this year

New Mexico - worst result of the day. Blew out the incredible Utah State team. Huge win and probably gets them in.

UNC - down 32 late, was a minor W to outscore them by 17 to save their NET. NET only fell to 44 from 41.

UCF - lost at home to BYU. NET down to 64 from 62.

1st 7 Out

ASU - important home loss to AZ

BYU - beat UCF to take their spot temporarily

Wake - we know

Nebraska - at Oregon tonight

SMU - blew out Stanford and surging

Xavier - off

Indiana - lost at Purdue

Pitt needs to handle their business moving forward here and a lot of these other games won’t matter much. When you need to start relying on 5-10 bubble teams to lose to get in like Pitt had to do last year it’s probably not gonna end well for Pitt. Win the damn games you’re supposed to win at home and get a few road wins here and they should be in decent shape to make it. It’s completely and totally in Pitt’s hands now whether they make the tournament this year or not. They will have nobody to blame but themselves if they don’t.

Huge win for Nebraska @ Oregon tonight. I dont know how you can have them out after 2 Q1 wins this week.

I think Last 4 Byes and Last 4 In should be something like this:

Georgia
Vanderbilt
Texas
Pitt

Last 4 In
Ohio State
Nebraska
BYU
Wake

First Four Out
SDSU
New Mexico (have a Q3 and Q4 loss)
UNC
SMU

The problem Pitt has is we are probably closer in resume to SMU in First 4 Out than Texas, the team right above us. And those 2 Mountain West teams will surely be in

Nebraska had a big win last night.

Unbelievable, that only 4 schools have more Quad 2 wins than Pitt.

Most unbelievable is Auburn has already played 13 Quad 1 games, and are an amazing 12-1.

I dont see how you can leave Nebraska out if the tournament was today. 2 Q1 wins in a row.

As for Auburn, UNC needs to hire Pearl.
