PENN STEAKS EATEN BY WOLVERINES:
Michigan has Forty Six 4*&5* Players compared to PSU has Twenty Seven 4*&5* Star Players?

“There's a difference between playing ranked teams and top-five teams,” coach James Franklin said. “Those top-five teams are top-five teams for a reason. And they played like it today.”......“I don't know if I've ever been through or seen anything like this,” Franklin said. “We've got three guys out, and then Brandon gets thrown out going for an interception. Then Jan Johnson comes in, and we lose him, too.”.....Michigan finished with 326 yards rushing and scored six of its seven touchdowns on the ground. “I was really impressed by all of our running backs,” coach Jim Harbaugh said............“We weren't who we were in the last three games,” Barkley said. “We're a way better offense than that. We believe we are, and we know we are.”.........“The great thing is we've only played four games so far,” Barkley said. “We still have so many games left to prove ourselves. Our goals are still in line.

NOTRE SHAME DUKED OUT & KELLY BLAMES PLAYERS NOT COACHES:
Another decided 4 to 5 Play game in the last minute and ND has Fifty Five 4*&5* Players compared to Duke's Four 4&5* Players? Guess Coaching win it for Duke after all but ND Players lost it for the Irish?
A walk-on kicker for the 21-point underdog split the uprights — and many hearts — at a suddenly sullen Notre Dame Stadium on Saturday........And it came against a team that had scored 27 points combined in losses the previous two weeks to Northwestern and Wake Forest.......Afterward, Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly warned of possible personnel changes at every position. But he defended defensive coordinator Brian VanGorder — again — saying the unit that allowed 498 total yards was "the least of my concerns after today." Not to mention it was the Irish's fifth consecutive failure against a Power 5 team, and fifth loss in its last six games overall......."There is no position that is untouchable on this team," said Kelly, adding that running back Dexter Williams was the only player who had "emotion and fire." "If you want to play for me moving forward, you better … have some damn fire and energy in you. We lack it. Severely."Kelly then called out his own quarterback, saying DeShone Kizer's play was "below standard" and "not acceptable" after Kizer threw for a career-high 381 yards and two scores and led the team with 74 yards rushing and one more. The Irish were upset 38-35. Duke was happy about upsetting Notre Dame.

USC LOSES AGAIN BUT FINDS A QB AFTER 3 LOSSES:
Another 4 to 5 play win or loss in the last quarter? USC has Fifty Seven 4*&5* Players Too? Coaching is being blamed in LA?
Over the crackling of two head coaches’ headsets, two decisions began to take form late Friday evening. One went for it. One did not. In the fourth quarter, USC Coach Clay Helton faced a fourth down. A drive later, Utah Coach Kyle Whittingham faced a fourth down.............For USC it was a fourth and three from Utah’s 37, up three points late. For Utah, a fourth and one from USC’s 23, a tying field goal well within range..........Seventy yards and almost five minutes later, now it was Utah’s turn. Whittingham paced the sideline. The game would swing on his decision: a 40-yard field goal to tie, or ground out one yard for a chance to win............The loss, which dropped the Trojans to 0-2 in the Pac-12 Conference, further rumbled an unhappy team and fueled questions about Helton’s efficacy. He is now 1-5 since being named USC’s full-time head coach. “I’m heartbroken for them,” Helton said. “I truly believe that we can be a really good football team. We’ve got to just finish with wins.” “After the game we were all down,” quarterback Sam Darnold said outside the locker room. “But we have hope.” The hope may be Darnold, who was confident and dynamic in his debut as the starter.

COWBOYS PASS BY BEARS:
OKSU has just Ten versus Baylor has Twelve 4*&5* Star Players and 4 to 5 Plays decide this game too. just like PITT-OKSU but at least Pitt game them a game up to the last few minutes?

The Cowboys (2-2) lost three fumbles, including the second by Justice Hill after he picked up a first down at the Baylor 2 with Oklahoma State trailing 28-24 with 9 minutes remaining. Hill, who had 122 yards rushing, was originally ruled down, but the call was overturned on review. A week after throwing for a national season-high 540 yards to beat Pittsburgh in another weather-delayed game for the Cowboys, Mason Rudolph was 27 of 45 for 279 yards with an interception. It was the first loss in a true road game for Rudolph since his debut as a freshman at Baylor two years ago, a span that included six straight road wins. Baylor is the only Big 12 team the junior hasn't beaten.....Oklahoma State: Who knows what would have happened if the Cowboys hadn't fumbled inside the Baylor 5 on what looked to be a go-ahead drive in the fourth quarter. Add to the what-if list that started with a disputed loss when officials mistakenly allowed an untimed down for Central Michigan's winning score. Baylor: The Bears have been something of an afterthought in the Big 12 race since a tumultuous offseason marked by allegations of mishandled sexual assault cases that led to the dismissal of two-time league champion coach Art Briles along with school President Ken Starr and athletic director Ian McCaw. But the Bears are the only 4-0 team, and the only other unbeaten team is West Virginia (3-0).

Quarterback Nathan Peterman shouldered some of the burden. He missed running back Qadree Ollison on an easy flat pass on third-and-4 early in the fourth quarter. He also misfired to tight end Scott Orndoff and wide receiver Tre Tipton on subsequent third-and-6 attempts, giving up the ball to North Carolina's potent offense. “Our goal is to have the ball in our hands and bring it in to coach Narduzzi in the locker room, and that's obviously something we didn't do,” Peterman said..........

QBs like Peterman just don't seem to have it in them to lead their team to victory when they have the opportunity.

He had some nice runs earlier in the game, but he ought to be able to throw a few easy passes accurately in order to be anointed the starting QB of a power 5 team. The dude needs to make the passes period or coach PN needs to move on. Is he truly the best QB on the team? Has he even thrown one deep ball (as in beyond 20 yards) yet this season? I don't get it. Just painful.

Well, he was a Top QB 4 Star recruit that did nOt do much at UTenn and Chaney saw Pitt needed better QB Talent. He is the Best QB Talent since Savage. To be fair, he and still has put up 42, 38, and 36 Points with handing off, running himself some key First Downs and TDs and passing enough to help the Run!

He had some nice runs earlier in the game, but he ought to be able to throw a few easy passes accurately in order to be anointed the starting QB of a power 5 team.
Agree, those late minute misses that kill off Drives needed too at the Last Quarter Clock are just bad Execution! OC Canada is doing a great job coaching him, but Nate has to make those short passes to save Game Leads?

The dude needs to make the passes period or coach PN needs to move on. Is he truly the best QB on the team?
OC Canada may be determining that now as he has moved MAC to Second Team and I think for next year Prep. Would not be surprised to see MAC in Marshal Game?

Has he even thrown one deep ball (as in beyond 20 yards) yet this season? I don't get it. Just painful.
To be fair, Pitt needed time to develop Wideouts too, and just threw 14 of 18 Passes today?

AI;ll say it again, a QB anointed the starter of a Power Five team ought to be able to throw a few easy passes when they are counting on you to do so. Handing the ball off well and run a little bit, isn't always enough (as we have seen). I am not saying Peterman can't do it. He just hasn't.

The inability of the the offense to score on the last few series of a game is a major issue and that falls on the QB and the OC and the HC. Changing the play calling when the game is on the line from something that had worked well all game to something that suddenly requires your QB to be able make the type of completions he struggles to make, just doesn't sound like a good strategy. They need to change the strategy or change the QB.
