Was just talking with a great Pitt sports guy about our current sports losing streak in Pittsburgh.
-Pitt football
-steelers
-Pitt hoops
-penguins
-pirates
And while you can’t include these last two, the losing and doldrums started with their disappointing ends to their seasons
-Pitt mens soccer
-Pitt volleyball
So here’s my question for this snowy depressing day. :
Let’s say you have a Delorian sports car, a hot tub or Ant Man’s creepy van, and you can go back in time and make one change to any team in Pittsburgh sports, what would you do?
Me I’d go back to the 80’s, make strange bedfellows with JoePanties and do whatever we needed to precipitate our entry into the Big 10. Yeah Big East hoops was a blast, but all of our sports and athletic Dept would be better off right now.
