This is an interesting time to look at NFL rosters because each team has cut their roster to 53 guys. Players will not be added to the practice squads until 2pm today so the guys who are rosters have fairly stable careers at this juncture. There is a caveat that some guys on the rosters are on the IR right now. For example, Manasseh Garner is on the Redskins roster but was not going to make the final cut.
I think that this important because I think one of Pitt’s biggest recruiting pitches is getting guys ready for the NFL and their relationship with the Steelers. Anyways, I listed it by number of alumni in the league:
