Yeah that protest worked well. The only way to change the way nutting runs the team is to not support the product. Unfortunately there appears to be a large segment of the fan base that enjoys bobble heads and character races more than actual baseball
Nutting should thank McClatchy for the fans who attend. He had the foresight to get a ball park built that is one of the nicest in the country, he just hired the wrong people to run the team. A friend of mine says the Pirates are a minor league team playing against major league owners yet he buys season tickets every year because of the atmosphere of PNC park and to see good teams come in.
Come on, you are looking at this all wrong.
