What a moment for the Big Ten. The crowd may top 5,000 to see the 3-15 Scarlet Knights. Steve Pikiell is now 6-30. Rutgers is the cautionary tale of hiring the hot mid-major coach. Kevin Bannon, Gary Watters, Mike Rice, Steve Pikiell.

By the way, Delaney said they'll never do the week before thing at MSG again but said they'll do something like 80% of tourneys in "legacy territory" and 20% in the NE. Mentioned NYC, Philly, DC. I could see them doing something at Brooklyb next time.

Tickets for today and tomorrow’s rounds going for $3 on Vivid Seats.

Greg Doyle is a sportswriter for the Indianapolis Star excellent writer makes the PG writers look like JV Squad. Pat Forde wrote recently how both the Rutgers & Maryland have done absolutely nothing for the Big Ten in any sport or ratings wise.

Magoo U. is the cautionary tale of a school getting in over its head athletically.

Mrs Buffett (prior to her moving to CO and attending Colorado State) and I grew up in NJ. I didn't know her at that time but both of us can tell you RU had little following in NJ let alone NY.

Most NJ people have other U's that they support although RU had a run in the early 2000's when their football team beat PITT in a Big East battle.

Not sure what the BIG Ten was thinking but I doubt RU delivered the market they expected.

Both Mrs Buffett and I have lots of sport oriented relatives in NJ and very few of them pay attention to RU.

"its five o'clock somewhere"
Signed: Mr Buffett
Go PITT & CSU Rams!
