O-line next season

Every discussion -- this one was about Pitt's OL next year -- gets co-opted by a few posters that have the same tired argument about recruiting rankings, over and over again. Please stop it. If you don't have anything to say about the topic at hand, just say nothing.

You would think the multiple threads about stars would be enough to keep them busy.

Last years recruiting recruiting class could have contributed greatly had Narduzzi inserted Pickett in the line up a lot sooner than he did. That's also saying that several more of the more talented freshman should been given the opportunity to play last year. You can't tell me Narduzzi and either Watson or Conklin couldn't have found playing time for Ford somewhere that would have helped last years squad.
Amusing that you try to make the argument by insisting that Pitt should have played a Three star player who had de committed from Temple. That resume looks rather similar to most of the players that Narduzzi has recruited. You know, the recruits that several posters are all up in arms about

Btw, the biggest thing that helped Pickett this year was that he enrolled early. Most freshmen don’t

You realize recruiting rankings on sitess like Rivals and ESPN are not exact and are for entertainment purposes. Coaches have better eyes for talent and can mold recruits with raw skills into "players" - ever hear of "champions aren't born, they're made"?

Well, that isn't true in all cases or every team would have great players and big winning seasons continually...which is impossible.
