Saw the film last night.
I thought it was great - lot of fun.
Casting, direction, CGI - all well done.

Are you saying that when two great super heroes have to square off against each other instead of working together to save the planet then no one wins or are you saying that literally, neither one was the decisive winner?

Not a huge fan but superman seems like a big time favorite.. Superman can fly so fast around the planet that it can actually stop the earth's rotation and cause it to spin backwards.. Batman needs wayne enterprises to finance cool gadgets..

That's just about what everyone thought going in.
Both got in some good hits.
Here's a spoiler - Batman used Kryptonite.
Its a surprise ending - at least it was for me.

Enjoy these for what they are - entertainment - a diversion.
This wasn't as lighthearted as the "Avengers", "Guardians of the Galaxy" or "Star Wars".
But it was still a lot of fun.

kryptonite?? That's a cheap move.. You'd think Batman would be above such dirty tactics. I guess anything goes when fighting a guy who can turn back time and shoot laser out of his eyes

Superman (Pitt fans who hate every decision) Batman (Athletic dept. trying to appease Pitt fans.)

I wonder if UVA fans are calling for Bennet's head.

they just made the elite 8, why would they? Did pitt fans call for Dixon's head after we lost to Nova?

The fact of the matter is that there are some people, I can think of one in particular who occasionally posts on this board, who wanted Dixon fired about two seconds after he got the job, and if you don't think those folks were going batshit crazy after that game then you simply don't know what you are talking about.

Nothing wrong with using Kryptonite. What else would work?
We saw the movie over the weekend with family and friends. All agreed, lots of fun.
Who doesn't love being 12 again for 3 hrs?

Eh... Kind of sucked. If you liked Man Of Steel, you'll probably like it. If you didn't like Man Of Steel, avoid it. Zootopia and 10 Cloverfield Lane are two that I'd recommend pretty highly that aren't currently in theaters.

Eisenberg was a great Luthor... I thought the movie over all was really good... I will say there are lots of " Easter eggs" throughout ... People who know Millers DKR series from the 80s plus a few other stories will "get it" more... It's dark like Man of Steel but better overall... The theatre I was in burst out in cheers when Wonder Woman arrived...!! It was a damn fun time...BTW the kryptonite thing was also in the Dark Knight Returns book series...I expected it. There was a shocker though...no spoilers... And lastly the title of the film is somewhat misleading as there are many other larger story arcs at work...for instance the Justice League....

Saw it last weekend. Surprisingly I really liked it. The rest of my family was very meh.

Eisenberg was absolutely terrible. Michael Rosenbaum for life.

What's interesting is how divisive this movie has become. We loved Eisenberg. My husband in particular thought he was the only good thing in the entire movie. I did read that Affleck's Batman is showing up in "Suicide Squad" this summer, which looks......interesting (ok, bad).....to say the least. But I'm the worst at prognostications since I thought "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Antman" were going to be awful and I absolutely loved both.

I didn't like the way he chose to portray Lex. But I also admit that I absolutely despise about 99% of the stuff he's in. Social Network is one of the few films I stopped halfway through in large part because I thought he was awful.

I actually think Suicide Squad could be really entertaining if they take the right tone. But I don't have much faith in the folks running DCCU.

Epic plunge at box office both in North America and overseas this weekend for BatmanSuperman.

This was one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Since when do plot and story not matter at all? Honestly was just random scenes thrown together with no story at all. Also a lot of lines from various cast members that were mumbled or huffed and hard to understand.

I like Man of Steel but this was pathetic. I loved Watchmen , but since it's like Snyder has forgot that a movie must flow from one scene to the next, it can't just be scenes that are loosely related.

I also think Suicide Squad looks great and like a lot of fun.

Not too many said anything. But clearly, they thought it, or else things wouldn't have turned so toxic during the first bad season.

As for the movie, wife and I just saw it.
Meh.
She fell asleep.

Took way too long to get anything going. The movie only getting good when Wonder Woman shows up is an accurate assessment.
Granted, I don't follow dc as much, but to my knowledge lex luthor isn't portrayed that way. My wife actually thought he was the Riddler.

The Son of Krypton was a 28.5-point favorite over the Dark Knight, with a bid to the BCS (Big Cosmic Showdown) Championship Game at stake against the winner of Green Lantern vs. Captain Marvel. However, Batman channeled his shady inner self, pulled some Bat-gadgetry from his utility belt (Holy Trickeration!) and stymied the Man of Tomorrow despite a Metropolis-based officiating crew (Jimmy Olsen, Perry White, the Prankster and Lex Guman) that clearly favored Superman. As the final seconds ticked off the Doomsday Clock, Batman was running the kryptonite-coated football out of the end zone to preserve a 13-9 win. "An absolute nightmare" mourned Supes as he slunk off with Lois Lane to the Fortress of Solitude.
